My specialist pregnancy massage treatments are designed to ease discomfort, promote deep relaxation, and give mums-to-be some much-needed me-time in a safe and supportive environment. Each treatment is tailored to you, using comfortable pillows and side-lying or semi-reclined positions to ensure both you and baby feel secure throughout. ✨ Benefits of Pregnancy Massage Relieves tension in legs, back, shoulders, and hips Improves circulation and helps reduce swelling Promotes better sleep and relaxation Supports emotional wellbeing and reduces stress Gentle, nurturing touch tailored for pregnancy ⚠️ Contraindications – When Massage is Not Advised Pregnancy massage is safe in most healthy pregnancies after the first trimester (12 weeks), but there are some times when it may not be suitable. Please seek medical approval first if you have: High-risk pregnancy or a history of complications Pre-eclampsia, high blood pressure, or gestational diabetes Severe swelling, headaches, or sudden changes in vision Placenta previa, vaginal bleeding, or abdominal pain Deep vein thrombosis (DVT) or clotting disorders Fever, infections, or contagious illnesses If in doubt, I will always ask for GP or midwife consent before proceeding. 🌿 Pre-Treatment Advice To get the best from your massage: Please wait until you are past your first trimester. Wear light, comfortable clothing for your consultation. Drink water before and after your treatment. Avoid heavy meals in the hour before. Allow yourself time afterwards to rest and enjoy the benefits. ✅ Who Can Enjoy This Treatment? Mums-to-be from 13 weeks onwards (with no complications). Cancellation Policy
Treatment Cancellations Our goal is to provide quality treatments in a timely manner. In order to do so we have had to implement an appointment/cancellation policy. The policy enables us to better utilise available appointments for our clients. Your appointment time has been specially reserved for you, should you be unable to keep your appointment 7 days notice is required. Failure to give adequate notice may result in a charge for the time and/or full prepayment of your next booking which will be non-refundable. Booking fees are non refundable, unless 7 days notice is given. In order to be respectful, please be courteous and call Jody Knight promptly if you are unable to attend an appointment. This time will be reallocated to someone who is requiring a treatment. To cancel appointments please call Tel:07540723071 at least 7 days before your appointment is due. If you do not reach Jody Knight, you may leave a detailed message on the voice mail. You may not cancel via email. No shows for general treatments, if you do not attend your treatment and fail to inform us you will forfeit your booking fee and have to re pay a booking fee to have another appointment.
